Hilton Metal Forging has successfully Manufactured Railway Forged Wagon Wheel set. Railway Forged Wagon Wheel set has been duly inspected and approved by RITES. One Railway Forged Wagon Wheelset consists of 2 Forged wheels and 1 Forged Axle. Each Coach/ Wagon has 4 Wagon wheelset.
The company will cater to growing demand of the Railways Wagon manufacturers to meet shortfall of Railways Wagon wheelset in India and replace imports from China. FY26 Hilton Metal Forging has plans of manufacturing more than 3,000 Railway Forged Wagon Wheel set. FY27 plan to increase production to more than 12,000 Railway Forged Wagon Wheel set thus increasing the Railways business of Hilton Metal Forging under ‘Make in India’ initiative. Total installed capacity planned is 20,000 Railway Forged Wagon Wheel set/ annum.
