The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12662.46 crore against gross selling of Rs 15938.22 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 3275.76 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1589.18 crore with gross sales of Rs 1574.09 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 15.09 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 42.43 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 25.29 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 52.63 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 42.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 20.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 22.31 crore in hybrid segment.
