Seamec’s arm’s JV acquires vessel ‘Chennai Valarchi’ from India Cements

Seamec’s wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) -- Seamec International FZE’s joint venture company -- Searete India IFSC has acquired the vessel ‘Chennai Valarchi’ from The India Cements (the Seller) on June 16, 2025 at a cost of $7,875,000.

Upon completion of acquisition, the vessel was put on bareboat charter with M/s Foresee Shipping IFSC, GIFT City, Gujarat, India for a period of 42 months at a charter hire rate of $7,156/ day. The total charter hire for the period of 42 months is about $9.15 million.

SEAMEC is the region’s leading provider of Diving Support Vessel (DSV) based diving services.
