BSE has been granted Thursday as the expiry day for equity derivatives contracts by the market regulator SEBI.
Earlier last month, SEBI with an aim to optimize the space between expiries and avoid designating, either the first or last day of the week as the expiry day, had announced expiries of all equity derivatives contracts across exchanges will be uniformly limited to Tuesdays or Thursdays.
BSE owns and operates the BSE exchange platform.
