Bond yields trade lower on Friday

Bond yields traded lower on Friday despite United Nations Conference on Trade and Development's (UNCTAD) private report stated that India rose a position to rank 15 among top global destinations for foreign direct investment (FDI) in 2024. 

In the global market, oil prices rose on Thursday after Israel and Iran continued to exchange missile attacks overnight and U.S. President Donald Trump's stance on the conflict kept investors on edge.

Back home, the yields on new 10 year Government Stock were trading 1 basis point lower at 6.30% from its previous close of 6.31% on Thursday. 

The benchmark five-year interest rates were trading 01 basis point higher at 6.01% from its previous close of 6.00% on Thursday.
