India Pesticides has informed that Ministry of Finance vide its notification dated 19th June, 2025 has levied Anti-Dumping duty on all the imports of Pretilachlor in any of its form & its intermediate - 2, 6- Diethyl-n-(2-propoxy ethyl) Aniline (also known as PEDA) originating in or exported from China for a period of five years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette. Initiative by Government of India will encourage the make in India efforts to fulfil the ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ vision and strengthen domestic manufacturers like in restoring fair Competition.
