Infotech Enterprises has inaugurated a new rolling stock and components (RSC) engineering center for its long standing partner Alstom Transport in Bangalore, India. The company has signed a five-year framework agreement with Alstom for continued support by leveraging its proven expertise and capacity. Infotech has been Alstom’s local engineering partner for more than eight years.
The new RSC engineering center will cover all the engineering areas, with particular focus on the mechanical section. In three years’ time, 350 people will be providing support for Alstom’s development plan in India, a plan based on quality and the continuous improvement of skills. The new RSC engineering center from Infotech will then be able to provide support for all Alstom Transport sites.
