Dredging Corporation of India has informed that Board of Directors has by resolution passed by circulation on 10/07/2025 accorded approval for appointment of Shri Rajiv Jalota, IAS (Retd.) as Additional Director (Non-executive Independent Director) on the Board of the Company effective from the date of their appointment I or taking charge as Directors / date of consent as per DIR 2 / having their active Director Identification number/ getting registered with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs as per the provisions of the Companies Act and the Rules and regulations made thereunder whichever is later for a period upto the date of the next General Meeting to be called within three months from the approval of the Board for his appointment, wherein the formal approval of the General body would be sought for his regular appointment as Independent Non-executive Director for a period of three consecutive years from the effective date of his appointment; It is informed that the above Director is not related whether directly or indirectly to any Director or Officer in the Company; It is confirmed that the above Director being appointed is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority.
