TGV SRAAC gets nod for setting up 40 MW solar power plant

TGV SRAAC has received board's approval for setting up of further 40 MW solar power plant near to its factory/elsewhere. The cost of the project is around Rs 120 crore and will be funded through internal accruals / bank finance.

The above approval is in addition to the earlier board approval for 60 MW (out of this 37.90 MW solar power plant works completed and started power generation and balance 22.10 MW solar power plant works are in progress satisfactorily).

TGV SRAAC (formerly known as Sree Rayalaseema Alkalies and Allied Chemicals) is the flagship company of the TGV Group. It is the leading producer of Chlor-Alkali products, Chloromethane and also manufactures Castor Derivatives and Fatty Acids.
