Alstom T&D trades jubilantly on plan to sell 23 acres of land in Bangalore

AlstomT&D India is currently trading at Rs. 150.10, up by 4.70 points or 3.23% from its previous closing of Rs. 145.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 145.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 156.00 and Rs. 145.05 respectively. So far 27033 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 230.00 on 03-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 110.00 on 06-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 156.00 and Rs. 139.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3510.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.31% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 10.31% and 9.38% respectively.

Alstom T&D, a leading power transmission and distribution company is planning to sell 23 acres of land in Bangalore. In the previous year also the company had planned to sell land in Bangalore and Chennai to help reduce its debt of Rs 590 crore and improve the net profit margin.

Alstom T&D India is part of Alstom Grid, a global player in electrical grids. The company’s India operations account for over 13% of overall revenues garnered by Alstom Grid’s global operations. Apart from India business, other major contributors are the operations in France, the US, Germany and China.
