Emami has entered into an agreement with Cannis Lupus Services India, an associate company, engaged in pet care segment, for subscription of Optionally Convertible Debentures (OCDs). Pet care segment offering Ayurvedic/ herbal remedies for pets under the brand ‘Fur Ball Story’.
Emami will convert existing inter-corporate loans of around Rs 8.23 crore into OCDs and infuse an additional Rs 4 crore through fresh subscription to these instruments. The investment aligns with its strategic focus on expanding into complementary wellness and lifestyle categories, though Cannis Lupus operates outside Emami’s core FMCG business.
Emami is the flagship company of the Emami Group and engaged in manufacturing products under various categories namely Hair Care, Skin Creams and Lotions, Talcum Powder and ayurvedic health care products.
