State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) is in process of organizing a ‘Mega Bank Adalat’ in the last week of September. The bank has taken this step in order to consider requests from borrowers who could not pay their dues in time. This facility can be avail by the borrowers who had suffered losses in business/agriculture, among others. It is applicable to all borrowers under the non-performing assets category.
Those customers who intend to get the offer should submit applications for one-time settlement of dues before September 30.
Recently, the bank had hiked the rate of interest payable on its deposit product ‘Chal-achal’ (unfixed deposit), which offers a combination of liquidity plus higher rate of interest to depositors.
