Copper futures were trading lower on Monday on subdued demand globally, despite eased tariff concerns following the weekend’s US-EU trade agreement. Investors are cautiously anticipating a critical week ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy meeting and a slew of economic data releases, while Trump's August 1 trade deadline loomed.

Copper futures for September delivery lost $0.0075 or 0.13% at $5.7775 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
