Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has received work order from Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) for the design, construction and supply of 6 Nos. of Work Boats and 6 Nos. of Accommodation Boats. The contract shall be executed over a period 20 months and is valued at Rs 80.69 crore inclusive of GST.
The supply of these works boats and accommodation boats will be utilized by the IWAI for ‘Capacity Augmentation of National Waterway-1 (River Ganga) Project’. This prestigious order marks its formal entry into the commercial shipbuilding sector, wherein company will start generating revenue from its ship building activity.
Over the past decade, the company has evolved from a ship repair unit into a trusted provider of dredging services across India’s major ports. This new chapter builds on that legacy.
Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works is engaged in the business of owning and operating of Marine Crafts for dredging along with repairs and maintenance/refits of Marine Crafts and Marine Infrastructure.
