Gold futures traded lower in early deals on Monday, as the safe haven appeal of the bullion got saddled following ease in geopolitical tensions, rise in bond yield notes and on uncertainties over US tariff for gold bars . The yellow metal for the most active contract had marked gain of about 2.6% for the week ahead of upcoming inflation data.
Gold futures for December delivery down by $52.60 or 1.51% to $3,438.70 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold declined by $20.61 or 0.61% to $3,377.14 an ounce.
