The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equities and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1932.90 crore against gross sell of Rs 2093.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 160.70 crore in equities on November 18, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1152.50 crore with gross sales of Rs 1153.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1.20 crore in debt on November 18, 2011.
