RCom surges on the buzz of inking multi-crore deal with Amdocs

Reliance Communications (RCom) is currently trading at Rs. 156.00, up by 1.00 points or 0.65% from its previous closing of Rs. 155.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 155.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 156.45 and Rs. 153.65 respectively. So far 721275 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 164.45 on 20-Sep-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.25 on 26-Mar-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 164.45 and Rs. 152.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 32095.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 67.86% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 19.68% and 12.17% respectively.

Anil Ambani owned Reliance Communications (RCom), has reportedly inked a multi-crore deal with technology firm Amdocs to reduce the average call handling time at its customer care centers. The company will use Amdocs’ CRM solution, which would reduce RCom's average call handling time and improve experience for its customers. The solution can support 15,000 CSRs and 1.5 million customer interactions daily.

RCom is India’s foremost and truly integrated telecommunications service provider. The company, with a customer base of about 150 million, including over 2.5 million individual overseas retail customers, ranks among the Top 4 Telecom companies in the world by number of customers in a single country.
