JSW Energy, Waaree Energies and Sasken Technologies to see some action today

JSW Energy’s wholly owned subsidiary -- JSW Neo Energy (JSW Neo) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% shares in Tidong Power Generation (Tidong Power) from Statkraft IH Holding AS (Statkraft). The transaction is subject to regulatory and other customary approvals standard for a transaction of this size. The transaction values the asset at an Enterprise Valuation of around Rs 1,728 crore, subject to closing adjustments agreed under the share purchase agreement.

Waaree Energies’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Waaree Power has received approval to subscribe 76% of the share capital of Racemosa Energy (India) subject to execution of definitive agreements, customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. Cost of acquisition will be around Rs 53 crore. Further, pursuant to the above subscription of shares, Racemosa Energy (India) will become a step-down subsidiary of the company after the closing conditions are fulfilled. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on September 18, 2025 has, inter alia, approved the same. Racemosa Energy (India) established in 2018, is in the business of manufacturing smart meters. 

Sasken Technologies has entered into strategic partnership with VicOne, an automotive cybersecurity solutions leader, to strengthen in-vehicle and fleet-wide cybersecurity for global OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. VicOne is the Trend Micro subsidiary. As part of the collaboration, Sasken will leverage its over three decades of engineering, validation, and system integration expertise to co-sell, integrate, and operationalize VicOne’s cybersecurity solutions. This partnership will enable OEMs and Tier-1s to deploy cybersecurity at scale across ECUs, operating systems, and cloud systems, with audit-ready evidence, reduced investigation time, and hardened charging infrastructure. 

Ramky Infrastructure’s subsidiary -- Mallannasagar Water Supply has executed a Concessionaire Agreement with Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB), Hyderabad. The project is for execution of HMWSSB - Godavari Drinking Water Supply Scheme - Phase-II & Phase-III-Filling of Osmansagar & Himayathsagar Reservoirs with Godavari Water for Rejuvenation of Musi River, under Hybrid Annuity Mode of Contract- Including Manning, Operation and Maintenance of Project - Package II. The project includes construction within 2 years and Manning, operation and Maintenance (MoM) for a period of 10 years from completion of construction, under Hybrid Annuity Model. Total value of the project is Rs 2,085 crore.

Tata Steel has entrusted John Cockerill India with a prestigious contract for the engineering, design, manufacture, and supply of a state-of-the-art Push-Pull Pickling Line and Spray Roaster-Acid Regeneration Plant (ARP) at its Jamshedpur (Tinplate Division), Jharkhand facility. The contract also includes supervision of erection and commissioning to achieve full contractual performance guarantees. Under the agreement, John Cockerill India will deliver all equipment required for the Pickling Line and Spray Roaster ARP, along with supervision services to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. 

Texmaco Rail & Engineering has bagged order worth Rs 86.85 crore from Ultratech Cement for BCFC Wagons along with Brake Van to be delivered by March 2026. 

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation has raised Rs 600 crore through the allotment of 60,000 Unsecured, Redeemable, Listed, Rated Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) having face value of Rs 1,00,000 each, for cash, on a Private Placement basis. The Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has on September 18, 2025, considered and approved allotment of the same.
