Highway Infrastructure, Jaykay Enterprises and Quality Power Electrical to see some action today

Highway Infrastructure has entered into a Contract Agreement for the operation of the Chotiya Fee plaza at km 117.150 at 2 -lane with paved shoulder of Katghora to Shivnagar in the state of Chhattisgarh. The company is scheduled to take over the Fee Plaza on October 11, 2025. The contract value of the said project is Rs 31.08 crore.

J K Phillips LLP, a 50:50 Joint Venture between Jaykay Enterprises and Phillips Machine Tools India (a subsidiary of Phillips Corporation, USA), has received an Order/Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Ircon International (a Navratna Company and a Govt. of India Undertaking) for a contract value of Rs 139.48 crore (including GST). LoA is for Design, Supply, Installation, Commissioning & Training of various types of plant & machineries for MSME Training Centres located at various locations in India on turnkey basis (GE-Package-2).

Quality Power Electrical Equipments' (QPEEL) material subsidiary -- Mehru Electrical and Mechanical Engineers has signed a landmark co-development agreement with Hyosung T&D India, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hyosung Heavy Industries Corporation, Korea, for gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) instrument transformers. This milestone positions Mehru as one of the first Indian companies to co-develop GIS instrument transformer technology for global markets. The collaboration brings together Hyosung’s global leadership in advanced equipment and ecofriendly gas technologies with Mehru’s expertise in manufacturing high-voltage instrument transformers, enabling the creation of world-class GIS components designed and manufactured in India.

Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels has entered into Share Purchase Agreement for acquisition of 90% (with an option to acquire balance 10% shareholding subsequently, based on certain events) stake of Zillion Hotels and Resorts from its existing shareholders (namely Handa Family Shareholders and Nair Family Shareholders). Consequent to the aforesaid acquisition, Zillion Hotels and Resorts will become a subsidiary of the Company. 

Newgen Software Technologies has received and accepted a purchase order from Kshema General Insurance for its Policy Administration System. The aggregate commercial value of the aforesaid order is Rs 21.24 crore including taxes.

AWL Agri Business (AWL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Solvent Extractors’ Association of India (SEA) and Solidaridad Regional Expertise Centre (SREC) to advance the Regenerative Mustard Mission - Sustainable Mustard Farm Project. Under this collaboration that will be in force till August 2027, 3,000 mustard model farms will be established in nine districts across the country, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Haryana, scaling up from the existing 1,500 farms. These model farms will demonstrate regenerative agriculture practices, satellite-based monitoring, soil health management and climate-resilient techniques, aiming to bridge the yield gap in mustard cultivation.
