Dev Information Technology (DEV IT) has been awarded a significant work order by Guj Info Petro (GIPL). The order pertains to upgrade of the cluster and its migration to the current data centre infrastructure. Contract value is around Rs 71 lakh. The said order is to be executed over a period of about 2-3 weeks.
As per the current architecture, the cluster will be upgraded to support the latest workloads with minimal downtime. The migration plan includes provisioning of various e-Governance applications on top of the upgraded environment, which will be securely hosted and managed within the GIPL infrastructure. This also includes acquiring Microsoft Windows Server 2025 Data Centre Core and Windows Server 2025 Standard Core to be deployed at GIPL’s state-of-the-art data center at Gandhinagar. The objective of this initiative is to enhance overall performance, scalability, and operational efficiency; Leverage existing physical and virtual resources; and Ensure high availability for mission-critical workloads.
