CIFT organizes ‘Marketing Research for Value Chain in Fisheries’ course

Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (CIFT) will be conducting a 10-day ICAR short course on ‘Marketing Research for Value Chain in Fisheries’ from October 1 to 10. The content includes a mix of theoretical, interactive and practical sessions including hands-on use of tools learnt.

The content includes concepts, methods of marketing research, supply chain analysis and management, forecasting tools, export markets and competitiveness, issues in domestic and export marketing, ICT & GIS applications, Market Decision Support Systems etc.

The course sponsored by ICAR New Delhi aims to provide participants with an exposure to the tools of marketing research which can be used within a value chain framework. It is designed to benefit young scientists, teachers and researchers of ICAR institutes agriculture universities and other colleges. As many as 25 participants from different parts of the country will attend the course.
