Gold futures trade higher in early deals of Monday

Gold futures traded higher in early deals of Monday, kindled by the softness in dollar and decline in bond yield notes. Further, ongoing geopolitical tensions and economic uncertainties boosted demand for the yellow metal as a safe asset. The precious metal for the most active contract had marked 2.7% gain for the week.

Gold futures for December delivery up by $19.80 or 0.52% to $3,828.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $45.48 or 1.21% to $3,805.46 an ounce.
