Waaree Energies has completed the acquisition of 64% equity stake in Kotsons (KPL) for a total consideration of Rs 192 crore. Consequently, KPL has become a subsidiary of the Company effective from October 07, 2025.
Kotsons established in 1978, is in the business of designing, manufacturing and supplying advanced transformer solutions. The acquisition will enable vertical integration, market expansion, and access to electrical ecosystem for projects, enhancing control over the supply chain and quality of the product.
Waaree Energies is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture of solar photo-voltaic modules, setting up of projects in solar space and sale of electricity.
