Centum Electronics, Power Grid Corporation and Tejas Networks to see some action today

Centum Electronics has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), a premier Defence Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. This collaboration establishes a framework for joint R&D and co-development of next-generation Advanced Naval Navigation Systems. The partnership will leverage Centum’s established competencies in high-reliability electronics, system integration, and advanced manufacturing together with GRSE’s proven shipbuilding and platform integration capabilities. 

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has on October 8, 2025 acquired Mandsaur I RE Transmission, the Project SPV to establish ‘Augmentation of transformation capacity and Implementation of line bays at Mandsaur S/s for RE Interconnection’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator – PFC Consulting (PFCCL). The project comprises augmentation works at under-construction sub-station (Mandsaur PS) in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

Tejas Networks has launched Ojas64, its next-generation 64T64R Massive MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) Radio at IMC 2025, New Delhi. Ojas64 is a best-in-class 5G Macro radio capable of delivering up to 320W of output power with multi-gigabit speeds and double-digit spectral efficiency gains while drastically reducing its carbon footprint. 

HFCL has secured export orders worth around $34.19 million (equivalent to around Rs 303.35 crore), for the supply of optical fiber cables, through its overseas wholly owned subsidiary, from a renowned international customer. The said order is expected to be completed by April 2026.

G R Infraprojects has received Letter of Acceptance dated October 8, 2025 from State Highways Authority of Jharkhand for EPC Project for Construction of Giridih Bypass (towards Tundi) road (Total Length 26.672 Km.). Contract price is Rs 290.23 crore. Completion period is 24 months from Appointed date.

Ircon International has executed non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Coal India on October 8, 2025 at Kolkata with an intent of development of Rail Infrastructure of Coal India and its subsidiaries.
