Asian markets end mostly lower on Friday

Asian markets ended mostly loweron Friday with stock market of Taiwan closed for Double tenth day holiday. Riskaversion amidst woes that the US government shutdown is entering its thirdweek. Rising US bond yield notes and delayed Fed rate cuts lifted borrowingcosts prompting capital outflows from emerging Asian stocks also weighed downthe indices. Hang Seng plunged in the session marking loss of about 4.8% forthe week, amidst disappointing Chinese economic data, regulatory pressureson tech stocks, and global risk-off sentiment from US market volatility.
