IRM Energy rises on acquiring additional equity shares in Venuka Polymers

IRM Energy is currently trading at Rs. 333.55, up by 1.90 points or 0.57% from its previous closing of Rs. 331.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 331.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 335.20 and Rs. 330.80 respectively. So far 2326 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 425.50 on 16-Oct-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 235.90 on 17-Mar-2025.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 349.90 and Rs. 324.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1367.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.07%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.54% and 43.38% respectively.

IRM Energy has made an additional investment in Venuka Polymers (VPPL), an associate company of IRM Energy, by acquiring 10,50,800 equity shares of Rs 10 each, through Right Issue. The total subscription made in the Rights issue is Rs 1.05 crore. Consequently, the shareholding of the company in VPPL has increased from 33.33% to 50.00%. The company has reinstated its stake at 50% in VPPL, as part of strategic investment.

Venuka Polymers is engaged in the business of manufacturing, distributing, supplying, micro-Irrigation systems, PVC/MDPE/HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE/PP pipes, tubes, hoses, fittings, etc.
