JSW Energy, Exhicon Events Media Solutions and Power Grid to see some action today

JSW Energy’s subsidiary -- JSW Energy (Utkal) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Power Company of Karnataka for a 400 MW, 25-year power supply arrangement from April 1, 2026. The coal shall be procured from Coal India under SHAKTI Scheme 2017. Upon the regulatory adoption and subsequent signing of the Power Purchase Agreement, Utkal will have 57% of its total capacity tied up under this arrangement, ensuring significant long-term earnings stability for the plant.

Exhicon Events Media Solutions has entered into an Exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with 10Times.com, the world’s largest business event discovery and networking platform connecting over 20 million users to 2,00,000+ events across 150+ countries. Under this MoU, Exhicon will act as the exclusive on-ground execution partner for exhibitors registered on 10Times.com, offering comprehensive exhibition services including stall design and fabrication, branding, logistics, manpower, lead engagement, and hospitality solutions.

Power Grid Corporation of India, pursuant to its selection as the successful bidder under Tariff based competitive bidding, has on October 16, 2025 acquired Vindhyachal Varanasi Transmission, the Project SPV to establish ‘Inter-regional (NR-WR) Transmission System strengthening to relieve the loading of 765 kV Vindhyachal-Varanasi D/c line’, on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis from the Bid Process Coordinator – PFC Consultancy (PFCCL). The project comprises establishment of new 765 kV Sub-Station at Prayagraj in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The project also comprises 765 kV D/c Transmission Lines traversing in the states of Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh. 

United Drilling Tools has received an first export order from Venezuela by Union Venezuela Servicios, C.A. for the supply of Gas Lift Valve in the ordinary course of business. Estimated contract value is Rs 9.34 lakh. The said order is expected to be completed in 2 months.

Ventive Hospitality, through its Material Subsidiary namely Panchshil Corporate Park (PCPPL), is proposing to acquire 100% stake in the Target Entity. The Target Entity through its subsidiaries holds the exclusive rights for Soho House expansion in India and operates Soho House Mumbai (Juhu). The proposed acquisition will mark Ventive’s entry into the global membership led business and lifestyle hospitality segment, bringing one of the world’s most celebrated hospitality and cultural brands to India. This expansion reinforces Ventive’s strategy of building a diversified, high-margin portfolio that extends beyond hotels into experience-driven and subscription-led formats with recurring membership revenues and predictable cash flows. The Target Entity and its subsidiaries hold the exclusive India rights for Soho House under an agreement with Soho House Limited (UK) and a controlling voting interest in Soho House Mumbai.

Atlanta Electricals has won an order from BNC Power Projects aggregating Rs 183.54 crore. This order is for the supply of mix of 315 MVA, 400 KV and 100 MVA, 132 KV transformers and a 400 KV bus reactor at their Pugal site. This project covers design, manufacturing, testing and supply to the Pugal site. The deliveries will be sequenced post engineering and drawing approvals, providing multi-quarter execution visibility and a steady production run-rate. The order will be executed in the ordinary course of business and will form part of the Company’s order book.
