Physical Rubber prices witness some gains on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed some gains on Thursday, supported by strong global sales of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. However, growing supplies, ongoing US-China trade tensions and the impact of the US government shutdown have limited further gains in rubber prices.

Spot prices for the RSS-4 variety rose to Rs 186.50/kg to its previous closing of Rs 186/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety gained to Rs 183/kg to its previous closing of Rs 182.50/ kg.
