Crude oil futures ended lower on Monday as concerns about the outlook for energy demand continue to weigh on investors' sentiments. Besides, traders took a cautious approach ahead of the Federal Reserve's monetary policy announcement this week.
Benchmark crude oil futures for December fell $0.19 or 0.3% at $61.31 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for December delivery lost $0.29 or 0.44% to settle at $65.62 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
