Aditya Birla Capital (ABCL) has made an investment of Rs 382.49 crore on rights basis, in the equity shares of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company (ABSLI). Pursuant to the aforesaid investments, there is no change in the percentage shareholding of ABCL and ABSLI continues to be a subsidiary of the Company.
ABCL is making the investment in ABSLI to meet its growth and funding requirements and improve its solvency margin.
