Welspun Enterprises, EFC (I) and UGRO Capital to see some action today

Welspun Enterprises (WEL) has been awarded a landmark contract by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to Design, Build and Operate a 910 million litres per day (MLD) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) at Panjrapur, Maharashtra. The project, valued at around Rs 3,145 crore, includes comprehensive civil, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation works, along with the construction of a treated water sump and pumping station. 

EFC (I) has forayed into the retail leasing business, introducing premium showroom and shop spaces across key commercial hubs in India. Building on its strong presence in the office space segment, EFC aims to replicate its success by delivering high-quality, ready-to-lease retail spaces that cater to both established brands and high-growth retail ventures. The company’s new initiative aligns with India’s expanding consumer economy and the renewed demand for physical retail footprints among national and international brands. EFC plans to roll out a portfolio of premium retail spaces in metro and tier-1 cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Delhi NCR, and Kolkata, followed by strategic high-street and mixed-use developments in emerging urban centres. 

UGRO Capital has raised Rs 100 crore through the allotment of 10,000 Unsecured, Rated, Subordinated, Listed, Taxable, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures denominated in Indian Rupees (INR), each having face value of Rs 1,00,000 through private placement. The Investment and Borrowing Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company (Committee) has on November 6, 2025 approved allotment of the same. 

The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts has signed a management agreement with The Godwin Group for The Leela Jaisalmer, marking its foray into Rajasthan’s fabled desert capital, the Golden City. Spread across 30 acres of desert landscape, this 80-room luxury Desert Resort and Spa is slated to open in 2026, further expanding The Leela’s footprint across India’s most captivating leisure and cultural destinations.

Monarch Surveyors and Engineering Consultants has received Letter of Acceptance for Providing facilitation to Competent Authority for Land Acquisition (CALA) under the Railway Act, 1989 work to the Railway Projects of Doubling and traffic facility works between Chikajajur and Bellary stations in Mysuru Division and Hubballi Division of South Western Railway. The total order value of the project is Rs 3.19 crore. 

Imagicaaworld Entertainment’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Imagicaa Next has entered into partnership with Hello Park, the world’s largest chain of immersive, digital-physical (phygital) play parks for children. This partnership heralds the foray of Imagicaaworld into the Family Entertainment Centre (FEC) category. This asset light, in-city format is planned to be rolled out in malls and high footfall locations in the country. This collaboration entails exclusive rights to bring Hello Park to India, marking a major step in redefining family entertainment and experiential learning in the country.
