Crude oil futures ended higher on Friday as concerns about interruption in Russian crude output offset worried about the oversupply. The concerns about Russian supply emerged after a Ukrainian drone attack has damaged a docked ship and an oil depot in the Russian Black Sea port of Novorossiysk.
Benchmark crude oil futures for December increased $1.26 or 2.15% at $59.95 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude for January delivery gained $1.38 or 2.19% to settle at $64.39 a barrel on London's Intercontinental Exchange.
