Shoppers Stop’s wholly owned subsidiary --Crossword Bookstores-- has opened up one 'Crossword' franchisee store at Udaipur. With the opening of this store, the company in total now has 74 ‘Crossword’ stores. Recently, Shoppers Stop opened up one MAC door at MBD Mall in Ludhiana. Following the opening of that door, the company is now having nineteen MAC doors.
Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
