Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 1,16,530.33 crore on October 9 and the total numbers of contracts traded on the day were 39,70,203.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 12,931.73 crore, Stock Futures Rs 15,874.64 crore and Index Options Rs 79,165.01 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 8,558.95 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood at 0.99, while Index Options PutCall ratio was 1.05 and that of Stock Options was 0.58.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were, Havells 7.50, Ultra Cemco 2.06, Siemens 1.53, Bank India 1.52 and Finan Tech 1.78.
Among most active underlying, Infosys witnessed addition of 0.18 million of Open Interest in the October month futures contract followed by State Bank of India with an addition of 0.11 million Open Interest in the near month contract; United Spirits witnessed addition of 0.22 million of Open Interest in the October month futures. Reliance Industries witnessed contraction of 0.06 million in Open Interest in the October month contract and Yes Bank witnessed an addition of 0.71 million in Open Interest in the near month futures contract.
