Gold futures finished muted on Friday and marked a loss of about 0.27% for the week. Higher treasury bond yield notes and technical correction dulled the investment appeal of the bullion. The yellow metal had soared on bets over interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve next week.
Gold futures for December delivery settle unchanged at its previous close of $4,243.00 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold down by $9.84 or 0.23% to $ 4,197.78 an ounce.
