The President has now cancelled his night halt and will return to the national capital on the same day (Oct 26). Modi will address the BJP's Hunkar rally in Patna on October 27. The clash between the President's visit and Modi's rally had become an issue between BJP and its former ally JD (U).

The President informed us that he will be in Patna on October 26 only for two hours. Venu Rajamony said that the president will give a lecture at IIT Patna Oct 26. After the function, he will come back the same day. He was invited for a function Oct 27, but that was postponed a long time back.
