Astra Microwave Products has secured an order worth Rs 171.38 crore (inclusive of all applicable taxes and GST) from Indian Meteorological Department. The order is for procurement of six nos. of Klystronbased S-band Polarimetric Doppler Weather Radars (DWRs) along with associated systems including AWS and Disdrometers with 3 years warranty followed by 7 years CAMC. The order is to be executed within 18 months.
Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) designs, develops and manufactures sub-systems for RF and microwave systems used in defense, space, meteorology and telecommunication.
