Diamond Power, RRP Defense and Honasa Consumer to see some action today

Diamond Power Infrastructure has received a letter of intent from Amara Raja Infra, EPC Contractor for Supply of HT and LT Cables worth Rs 75.14 crore inclusive GST. The said order is expected to be completed between January 2026 to March 2026. 

RRP Defense and Meprolight, Israel, a global leader in electro-optics, night-vision and weapon-sight systems, have entered into a strategic collaboration aimed at delivering next-generation defence technologies to the Indian market. Under this collaboration, Meprolight and RRP Defense Limited will jointly work on the distribution, assembly, technology integration, and future localisation of Meprolight’s advanced product line in India.

Honasa Consumer has acquired BTM Ventures, the parent company behind Reginald Men, which was founded in August 2022 by Trisha Reddy Talasani. Reginald Men, a premium personal care brand for men, offers a curated range of men’s products, across personal care especially sunscreen and serum which is a focus category for Honasa. As part of the transaction, Honasa will acquire a 95% stake via a secondary purchase at an enterprise value of Rs 195 crore, subject to closing adjustments. The remaining 5% to be acquired after 12 months based on pre-agreed valuation criteria.

Mafatlal Industries has initiated the installation of a 4 MWp (DC) ground-mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant at its Nadiad Unit for captive consumption. Upon successful implementation, the solar power plant is expected to bring notable savings in power cost for the manufacturing unit. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment towards environmental sustainability by contributing to green energy generation and reducing carbon footprint. 

Paisalo Digital has unveiled an advanced AI-powered customer profiling and fraud detection framework to strengthen its credit risk management ecosystem. This new system is designed to enhance underwriting accuracy, mitigate fraud and enable more reliable lending decisions for underserved customers across semi-urban and rural India. Under the new system, every customer, guarantor and co-borrower is assessed as a distinct financial identity. The AI engine detects duplicate identities, monitors cumulative exposure limits and flags high-risk patterns. This approach provides greater transparency into borrower histories and helps prevent overlapping liabilities that could otherwise compromise repayment capacity or signal concerns about loan intent. 

Rama Steel Tubes (RSTL) is planning to acquire Automech Group, a UAE-based multi-award-winning provider of high-precision manufacturing services, machines, and components for a total consideration of AED 296 million (Approximately Rs 728 crore). This strategic transaction marks a defining milestone in RSTL's journey to diversify into high-value engineering services and strengthen its presence across the GCC and MENA regions. 

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals has received an letter of award from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) for EPC Contracts for design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of Solar Water Pumping Systems (SWPS) with PV Modules under MTSKPY/ PM-KUSUM scheme at various location across the State of Maharashtra with total order value of Rs 28.72 crore (excluding GST).
