The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10613.56 crore against gross selling of Rs 10034.73 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 578.83 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 898.76 crore with gross sales of Rs 2107.74 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1208.98 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 54.66 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 237.93 crore, while net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1025.71 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 44.71 crore against gross selling of Rs 18.43 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 26.28 crore in hybrid segment.
