Lupin, Lemon Tree Hotels and ITCONS E-Solutions to see some action today

Lupin has entered into an exclusive License, Supply and Distribution agreement with Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals, headquartered in China, for a novel fortnightly GLP-1 receptor agonist, Bofanglutide. The agreement strengthens Lupin’s diabetes portfolio and accelerates its presence in the obesity segment. Bofanglutide injection is a fortnightly (once in two weeks) GLP-1 receptor agonist developed by Gan & Lee, intended for treating adults with type 2 diabetes and aiding weight management in overweight or obese individuals.

Lemon Tree Hotels has executed Hotel Operation Agreement (HOA) in respect of upcoming hotel at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh by Carnation Hotels, a wholly subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels. Carnations Hotels shall operate the hotel under brand name ‘Lemon Tree Suites’ subject to execution of licence agreement by Lemon Tree Hotels. Lemon Tree Suites, Tirupati is located in one of India’s most revered spiritual destinations, best known for the Sri Venkateswara Temple, which draws millions of devotees every year.

ITCONS E-Solutions has bagged a new contract by the Hindustan Aeronautics, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, to provide 75 resources for a period of two year. The total contract value is Rs 4.15 crore inclusive of all taxes and duties. The contract is scheduled to commence on January 01, 2026 and shall remain in force until December 31, 2027 unless extended further by mutual agreement between the parties. 

Cupid has received in-Principle approval from its Board of Directors to set up a new FMCG manufacturing facility in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). This will be the company’s first manufacturing plant outside India, marking an important milestone in its international expansion journey. The proposed facility is aimed at supporting Cupid’s FMCG growth strategy and strengthening its presence in overseas markets, beginning with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. 

Astal Laboratories has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Switzerland-based Immuna Therapeutics GmbH for the exclusive India rights to next-generation CAR-T cell therapies, including TriCAR-T platforms. The proposed collaboration covers technology transfer, localization of manufacturing, clinical development, and commercialization in India. The initiative supports company’s long-term strategy to expand into high-value advanced therapies and cell and gene therapy platforms.

Waaree Energies’ wholly owned subsidiary -- Waaree Power has set up 2 solar inverter line manufacturing facility having annual capacity of 1.525 GW each totaling to 3.05 GW at its factory at Sarodhi-Valsad, Gujarat, India and has commenced operations at such facility with effect from December 29, 2025.
