Asian markets traded mostly lower in early deals on Tuesday, due to risk aversion amidst woes over AI overvaluation of AI relate stocks and on escalated geopolitical tensions with China's military exercises encircling Taiwan and Ukraine's audacious drone strikes perilously close to Russian President Vladimir Putin's residence. Profit-booking after recent rallies and caution ahead of Q3 earnings, though some regions like South Korea also saddled the indices. Japan’s Nikkei dipped slightly with the global indices. Sell offs in chip-related heavyweights and AI-linked stocks pressured the markets.

Nikkei 225 dipped by 27.92 points or 0.06% to 50,499.00, Taiwan Weighted down by 54.48 points or 0.19% to 28,756.41, KOSPI Index decreased by 1.56 points or 0.04% to 4,219.00, Jakarta Composite decreased by 31.40 points 0.36% to 8,612.86 and Shanghai Composite dropped by 4.07 points or 0.10% to 3,961.21.

On the flip side, Hang Seng rose by 89.77 points 0.35% to 25,725.00, and Straits Times up by 25.99 points or 0.56% to 4,659.63.
