Bajaj Finserv has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2013.
The company has posted a rise of 19.99% in its net profit at Rs 56.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 as compared to Rs 46.97 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income has registered a growth of 20.07% at Rs 83.28 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 69.36 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012.
On consolidated basis, the company’s net profit after taxes and minority interest for the quarter under review registered 27.53% growth at Rs 276.54 crore against Rs 216.84 crore in the September quarter of previous fiscal. Group’s total income has risen by 29.89% at Rs 1309.42 crore for the quarter from Rs 1008.12 crore in the similar quarter of previous year.
Bajaj Finserv is engaged in life insurance; general insurance and consumer finance businesses and has plans to expand its business by offering a wide array of financial products and services in India. Apart from financial services, the company is also active in wind-energy generation.
