Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Government of Chhattisgarh, on January 7, 2026. As per the non-binding MoU, the company may provide financial assistance of up to Rs 1,00,000 crore during next five years for execution of different housing and infrastructure projects in the State of Chhattisgarh.
HUDCO finances social housing and residential real estate through primarily lending to State Governments and their agencies, which, in turn, extend the finance to or utilise the finance for the ultimate individual beneficiaries.
