The FIIs as per Thursday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15079.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 16918.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1839.01 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 5105.52 crore with gross sales of Rs 3046.99 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2058.53 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 682.99 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 142.18 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1517.72 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 63.16 crore against gross selling of Rs 95.96 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 32.80 crore in hybrid segment.
