Lupin gains on RBI considering its FII limit hike proposal

Lupin is currently trading at Rs. 909.90, up by 9.30 points or 1.03% from its previous closing of Rs. 900.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 903.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 915.00 and Rs. 894.15 respectively. So far 67723 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 946.35 on 11-Oct-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 552.10 on 16-Oct-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 946.35 and Rs. 888.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 40738.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.78% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.52% and 9.69% respectively.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is studying the proposal submitted by Lupin for increasing the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) shareholding limit from 33% to 49%. The company has applied to RBI for its approval pursuant to the resolution passed at the last Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the same.
