NMDC has reported 8.09% growth in September sales at 13.75 million tonnes as compared to 12.72 million tonnes in September 2012. The company’s September production has increased by 5.31% to 12.89 million tonnes as against 12.24 million tonnes in September 2012.

NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
