FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per October 17 data: SEBI

The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2550.40 crore against gross selling of Rs 1403.30 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1147.10 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 769.10 crore with gross sales of Rs 491.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 277.60 crore in debt.
