Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Thursday due to lack of genuine buyers in the markets.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety remained unchanged at Rs 163/ kg, while RSS-5 variety weakened to Rs 155/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 156/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of November delivery declined to Rs 163.15 compared to its previous close of Rs 164.47, while December delivery closed at Rs 165.40 compared to its previous closing of Rs 166.63 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
