Sarveshwar Foods has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with J&K Horticulture Marketing Produce Corporation (JKHMPC). The MoU is for the development of Basmati Rice Clusters in Jammu Region under holistic agriculture development programme (HADP) amounting to Rs 197.29 crore aiming to transform the basmati value chain in Jammu and Kashmir.
The programme is designed to leverage the geographical specialization of agriculture and allied sector clusters and promote integrated and market-led development of 3 verticals, that are pre-production and production, post-harvest management and value addition.
Sarveshwar Foods is engaged in the business of processing and marketing of branded and un-branded basmati and non-basmati rice in the domestic and international markets.
