The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 21375.41 crore against gross selling of Rs 21447.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 72.29 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 3687.36 crore with gross sales of Rs 1211.92 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2475.44 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 22.76 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 1165.63 crore, while net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 1287.05 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 52.49 crore against gross selling of Rs 23.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 29.16 crore in hybrid segment.
